Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and were granted refugee status to remain. Ghanizada is the middle sibling of two sisters. She was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career by being featured in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a film festivals. She was also an actress in numerous television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recent roles included the sci-fi action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was a part of her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital, which was broadcast on prime-time TV. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Doctor.
